EOFY Car Sale promotion? (any Group Buy?)

Hi fellow Ozbargainers,

I have been trying to grab a decent economic small to medium SUV deal (if used car 20k to 25k or new 30k to 35k).

Over a month of searching google, I have heard a word 'Group buying' but have not actually seen any active group that fits my interest (actually found no single group buying group for car).

I do not see various options of EOFY promotion at this moment apart from 1% finance offer at Nissan, so any sage advice will be welcome.

With a limited budget, I am hoping to prove myself a prodigy of Ozbargainer so tell my wife spending time on Ozbargain is worthwhile!

    The all-new 2019 Toyota Rav4 comes out August/September so expect current gen to drop a fair bit.

    I'm also waiting for EOFY deals to buy something in the $70-80k bracket (Mustang maybe?) but equally tempted to get something like a mid-size SUV and pocket the rest for something else (maybe a boat). Will let you know if find anything worthwhile.

    A lot of low mileage Rav4's at vehicle auctions at the moment - Could score a bargain there.

    I don't understand the post or the poll. Are you asking what cars people prefer in general or are you trying to get an idea of who else is looking to buy a car and what cars people may want to join a group buy with you on?

    Or something else?

      Sorry for a confusion, I put them to see what cars people may want nothing fancy.

    Which ones have you driven and which ones do you like?

      I have driven only Hyundai ix35 and Nissan X-trail but I preferred X-trail better.
