So then it becomes your responsibility to return it to a store to get your money back for an unsuitable item?

        • +3

          Or don't buy it.

        • Another suggestion would be?

Pretty useless comment you made, its like complaining you have to drive to a store to try on clothes before buying them. 'So its my responsibility to drive to a store to try on the shoes before I buy them?'

@FabMan: If they're selling online goods then they should provide a decent description of the goods. Buying it then having to return it is not a good option.

  • I wonder how these socks compare to the Bonds sports socks that go on sale all the time….I seem to always poke toe holes through them before anything else wears out.

At $5.00 for 4 pair delivered there cheap enough to give em a go ……………….

Hard to say just from the photo but they do look better. I gave up on Bonds socks some time ago. Their quality and durability has dropped significantly. The ones I buy now are considerably more expensive but are so much more comfortable and durable and definitely worth the extra cost.

      • Yes I agree Bonds quality has really gone to the sh!t.

I have a version of the Denali Roam 30 Daypack from 2011, has served me well through uni, work and multiple overseas trips (stuffed the bag almost to bursting point). It is still quite a good bag.

It looks like they have updated the zipper tabs from soft bendable metal to plastic tips which is good, and the material looks the same as it did 7 years ago.

But from the picture, cant really tell whether the chest strap is still present in this model…

  • The half price Denali backpacks is in store as well. I went to the local store to checkout the size of the Denali Roam backpack, it was a bit small, so purchased the Denali Eclipse backpack instead. Was $59.99 now $29.99.

    • Orac: does the Eclipse backpack has a rain cover?

      • Unfortunately not.

    • So the specifications are incorrect? The Roam is listed as 30 litres while the Eclipse is listed as 28 litres.

      • Not sure about the size of the Roam, but the Eclipse is 28 litres.
