Xiaomi repeater not connecting to new router

Hi guys I recently changed ISP and since then my repeater won’t connect to the new router, I have tried everything and made sure all my settings are correct including resetting the repeater several times, I’ve recorded a video of what happens during the setup which can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/tT9k7Qh4REQ

Any help getting it to work would be great

    Xiaomi is well known to be a rubbish brand. You get what you pay for man

      Cheers for the not helpful comment, it worked get with my old router nut refuses to connect to my new one, next time don’t bother commenting unless it’s to help

    I've seen many Xiaomi products only support 2.4Ghz, perhaps your new router is 5Ghz?

      I’ve disabled 5ghz so it’s on running2.4ghz, done this a few days ago and still won’t connect

    Check the security settings on your router. Typically it only works on a certain protocol I believe WPA2?

      That’s what I’ve got it set to but still won’t connect
