So I've got access to this lounge for my international trip next month, which is a godsend.
Has anyone visited this lounge before? Whats your experience?

Glad to see you at least added a question in, now.

Take that Melb airport with your overpriced food, HJs that the tables are never cleaned, and no rest areas except at the gates!
God people are lazy.
Yeah, but then Ozbairgain would be obsolete!!!
Why do you hate America?
Do people intentionally go super early to the airport so they can sit in the lounge? Even at their home city?
When I used to fly a lot, I used to get to the airport on time (with a little bit of leeway, of course) and there was never enough time to enjoy the lounge. I'd much rather leave home later than go early to go to the lounge.
The only time I ever really found the lounges useful is during transit between two flights.
If we are flying out early, and have access to the lounge, we normally have our shower there and get some food. Also, when we flew into London from Hong Kong, and were getting onto a train straight to Paris later that day, we were able to have a shower, second breakfasts and somewhere nice to while away a couple of hours.
Flying internationally at night means i often find the need to have dinner at the airport so a lounge suits me there.
Is that your excuse? There are better restaurants at the airport with much better food than the bain maries of a paid lounge
But you don't get the free alcohol.
It's not free. You've paid $60 to enter which includes a limited choice of booze there.
You can get a decent pizza or parma and a few pots of beer for ~$40 at the Crown Lager Bar instead. I can understand the novelty of the lounges but its not worth paying for if all you're after is food & drink.
@Cyphar: I haven't paid to enter a lounge yet.
@try2bhelpful: So? The discussion is on pay-to-enter lounges. Your opinion on business lounges that are included in your airfare are irrelevent to it.
I didn't pay $60. I paid $20…good value to me especially when a Hungry Jacks at the airport costs $12.
@Cyphar: I was talking about general lounge accesses - like a number of entries here.
He doesn't have to hang out with the great unwashed.
It's OK. I usually fly Qantas so use the shitty Qantas Lounge but when I'm not, I've already tried the Plaza Premium lounge and the Marhaba Lounge and find the latter to be much better.
