Dyson V10 Absolute

Hi all. Has anyone tried and tested the new Dyson V10 absolute stick vacuum? Pretty expensive outlay so would love some feedback. Also, anyone know of good pricing?

    V10 ain't that amazing for its price
    Dyson V8 is cheaper and does a similar job imo
    You can find V8 on special for $570

    Had an old V6 model.

    Would never touch another Dyson. Overpriced for what they are and their performance.

      I agree, great for a stick vac, but it’s still only a stick vac. Don’t know what the rush is for jimmy D to go to battery only vacs, probably more parts sales in it, especially batteries which seem to degrade rather quickly.

      Buying used commercial is a great option. Can pick up sweet Kirby's for $200 or used pacvacs.

      They last too! All parts replaceable and easy to repair on backpack vacuums

    I got one. The main difference between the V10 and the V8 is the bin and the battery.
    The V10's bin is slightly bigger and emptying it out is a much easier and cleaner process. The battery on the V10 is supposed to last about 10-15 years without any maintenance while the V8 is supposed to last just about 3 years.

    Given the recent eBay sale of the V10 down to $599.. is it worthwhile holding out for another similar sale or do I just the bullet and go the $V8 for the 570~ mark?

    Probably don't want to wait longer than 3 months..
