Can anyone tell me where I can find information regarding this for the Bundaberg Regional Council.
Do I need a building permit for building a low deck (under 1m)?
Can I enclose my existing roof covered verandah?
Am I able to draw up my own plans for certification or do I need a owner builder permit to do this..

If you actually looked before commenting at their excuse for a website, you would see that it doesn't provide the information I am after, hence my post querying this. Many other councils have specific details on this, but Bundaberg doesn't seem to and suggests engaging the services of a private certifier.
What I am looking for is the documentation specific to Building regulations in the Bundaberg Region.
Surely this should be available online?

Have a look at the NCC BCA Volume 2, it covers building classes 1 and 10 which is what you are looking at. In general a deck will need to be 900mm from the boundary. Best to contact a building certifier or the council if you aren't sure.
Just phone them. They will help you.
