Saw this(ebay.com.au) spin-bike on eBay for a $165 with free delivery code at the moment.
Don't get much time to go to the gym these days, anyone have any feedback on these?
They seem to be about $220 at the norm. Do they last and are they worth it?

my neighbour put one out on the nature strip last week.
Isn't that because they no longer work properly though? It seems to me that cheap gym stuff like treadmills and stationary cycles fall apart quickly.

The bike is fine… it's the rider that's given up :)
They give them away because they take up loads of room and people soon forget their new year resolutions etc.
Max speed of 10? 10 what? If that's 10km/h, that's friggin slow. Just a jog.
You honestly want to know why people put these out on the footpath or give these away on GumTree?! Because New Year's resolutions go out the window. No one can be bothered with at-home exercise torture equipment. After a while it just takes up room and reminds you of how you're a failure every time you look at it. It's too big and heavy for the wheelie bins, or to put in an average car and take to the tip. Hence, like all all those big things you see on GumTree, they're FREEEEE!!
As everyone else said. So many bargains to be had used. I can recommend the Kettler brand. Solid German quality

Keep an eye out on Gumtree and your local Facebook buy swap sell pages, people often give them away for free or for $20 or something. Unless you need it right now.
