I've been looking for one of these Candela lights for a while. They normally go for around AUD55 (delivered) on special but I came across this link.

Can't vouch for the store but it said shipping would be around 8 days (which seems too quick but you can pay via Paypal as protection)). I joined up and got 300 points (value of $3) and was also sent a 5% off code "5WTTOFF" but I couldn't get either to work. Without applying the points or code, I think it might still be the cheapest price for one of these.

UPDATE: Mine arrived on the 16th May so pretty accurate with the delivery times (definitely quicker than normal China deliveries)

  • This or the mijia bedside lamp?

    • this is portable. i have both, both are great

  • what does the international edition change ?

    • I really want to know the difference as well, can't find any info on the net…

  • Can anyone comment on how legit the '8 business days' shipping time is?

I just ordered so cheers op :)

I'll update with a postage timeline when I receive my order.

These things look pretty cool and I'd imagine if you have 3-4 around the house all controlled with one phone, it would really add to the home. I just don't know I can justify paying $45 for one though. The electronic flicker flame things you can get from the dollar stores for much cheaper. I get it's not exactly the same but I still think this is just a bit too expensive right now

I reckon in the advert he would have spent more on Xiaomi globes than the engagement ring. Hope he got a bargain

  • Rechargeable battery, just no.

I thought that too but it's rechargeable and lasts 6 hours. Can probably extend life with a Xiaomi powerbank.

      • Why can’t you just always keep it in the charger?

  • Hmm I wonder if these could be use outdoor (i doubt it though). I tried to find the info online but couldn't find anything

    • It can be used outdoor (on your covered balcony, etc), but it is not waterproof

  • I guess as it is Bluetooth it does not integrate with the MI App or the hub … but it says it is compatible with Android and IOS. Do I need a seperate App for this?

    • uses the same yeelight app as all the other yeelight lightbulbs, lightstrips that are usually on here

      • Thanks :-)

      • Same app but as it's not wifi it doesn't integrate with Google home. From what I understand Yeelight hasn't done anything to make it Bluetooth bridge capable but from previous reading it is possible if they engineer it that way.
