Last week I bought 4 Gb Lexar Pen Drive from Harvey Norman, Cannington. The marked price was $12 but it was on special and got it for $6….. Same with TOshiba - I saw Toshiba 4Gb pen Drive for $9…….

I picked up a 16gb toshiba flash drive for 19 bux at the melbourne qv store. I don't know if its really a deal or not. If anyone is wondering it transfers at about 18mb/s

A slow USB drive (especially a large one) is a major pain in the port!
It's a pity that the "speed rating" of the flash drives isn't made public. It's great having the class ratings on SD cards to get some idea on how they are supposed to work.

anyway, just $1 diff.At Chadstone Harvey Norman, Victoria they were selling all 4Gb flash drives for $6, all brands Lexar, Verbatim, Toshiba and Kingston are some that I remember. Also specials on 8Gb, and 16Gb.
