Is this site like G2A or does it get it's keys directly from the actual developers/platforms?
Thought about getting this if this site is 'legit' and not just a weird third party marketplace.

    • +16

      They are legit

    • +28

humble bundle is pretty much as legit as you can get for gaming keys.

    • +3

Please up vote this guy/girl, they're not criticizing the deal and are just asking a legit question.
Not everyone has heard of Humble Bundle.
Basimx - Yep, Humble Bundle are legit, and are very much one of the good guys of PC gaming.
They make contributions to charity and help get new / indie devs some good exposure too.
These guys and GOG are my preferred sources for games.

It’s as legit as you can get.

The site is actually owned by IGN.

    • Here's a reddit thread where some people discussed what key sites are legit or not. This doesn't cover every possible site but a few of the major ones. It's probably best to do your own research on the site you're buying from to make sure it's legit.

This is not Steam activation, correct?

    • It isn't steam code.

      • Hmm, strange, Humble might be running out. Even their monthly email says build the ultimate Steam library.

        • +9

the other games released at the end of the month should have steam keys. Destiny 2 is only available on battle.net which is why they're battle.net keys

    • +2

Destiny 2 is not Steam activated, you'll need a Blizzard/Battle.net account. The remainder of the games are Steam activated

    • They updated their terms of use so they no longer have to provide Steam keys.

  • I regret not to subscribe for last month :(
    NBA Playgrounds~ NO…

    • You can trade or pay money for it from people who got the bundle and don't want it (ahem)

    • +2

I have it and don't want it. Happy to send the key your way if you'd like.

      • I have some spare codes too. If you want to trade.

I was waiting for a Destiny PC deal - this is awesome!

  • +1

Destiny 2 is free till level 7 I think. I would recommend trying it before buying it.

    • +1

      Already enough for me.

  • I tried Destiny 2 demo when it first came out and it was OK but a bit underwhelming.

Has it improved since its release? Does it get better the more you play?

I guess I'm just wondering if it is worth $15?

    • +3

As a day 1 Destiny player, all I can say on the current state of Destiny is that there is a reason they are giving it away… just type Destiny 2 into YouTube and watch some of the latest videos on it. Go over to the reddit forum and have a read.

Even at this point in time, $15 seems a bit steep. As the user said above, play the demo version of it. If you like that part, then pay for the whole thing.

      • +5

Well it's not just for Destiny 2…

        • +1

yes, people seem to forget there will be at probably another 7-8 games.

    • It's more like $16-17 after conversion fees.

      • +1

If you use a credit card with no conversion fees like 28 degrees, then its the above price in aud.

    • It has quite a bit of content in the base game this time (unlike destiny 1). Unless you are hoping to play for 100s-1000s of hours it is a great game (the overall replayability/grindability is less than D1). But i easily played 50hours before there was much 'grind'. then another 20-30 on crucible (the PVP) and then some more to get to max power level and find some exotic weapons, so i easily got 100 hours of fun from it. Everyone treats it far harsher than is warranted

    • +1

I bought D2 about two months ago for $25 and I'm happy with the playability I've had out of it.
Given this deal is $10 less, which equates to approx 4 coffees or a single movie ticket for a AAA movie, I'd easily say it was worth the money.

YMMV, but there's too many cool kids pretending it's not worth their time or money.
That said, I'm not sure the DLC is worth the US$30 (per DLC) they want for it.

    • Youre better off waiting until there major expansion release in september, thats when they hope to resolve issues and add serious content, underwhelming atm

  • destiny 2 is a sub free game right, just crappy dlc and loot boxes right?

  • time to cancel my subscription

  • Has anyone been able to successfully activate their Destiny 2 key here in Australia?

I get the following error: "This key is restricted to use in another country. Visit the Blizzard Shop to purchase a key for your account."

I have already contacted Humble Support, so will see what they say.

    • Oh… maybe you need a Blizzard US account?
But then the servers would be server lag? Would you need VPN?

    • I had same error but found my accounts region was in Europe. Transferred to my other account with Australian region, worked fine.

      • Bugger. My Blizzard region is Australia and I just tried again, same error :(

Looks like I have to wait for support to sort this one out

        • you'll have to. Mine is Australian and it worked. Gl

    • I just got the same thing.
My Blizzard account was a US one, so I changed it to AU here: https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/product/services/316/6…
It was all automated, didn't have to wait for support. Hope this helps!

Oh and one more thing, this doesn't have anything to do with the game region. You can still choose which region to play in via the launcher. This is the account region.

  • So cancel on 2nd June to avoid 2nd month's charge?

    • +1

Cancel before 2nd June to avoid 2nd month's charge.
If you cancel the subscription now, and you still will get the rest of games on 02/06~

    • You can cancel straight away and still get that months games.

  • -1

destiny 2 still not even worth the $15 Lol

  • Desperate times for bungie. They screwed over their hardcore fans and are now trying to increase playerbase. Good luck lol

  • thanks, almost bought it for $30 the other day.

  • If anybody ends up with a spare D2 key, I'll happily buy it off of them!

  • Anyone know where i can pickup the expansions cheap?
