OP, I suggest you change the title to say "MOVA Globes (maps)". I thought you were referring to light bulbs (globes), which get listed far more frequently on OzBargain.

For anyone wondering how this perpetual-motion machine rotates, I found this article that explains it: https://sciencing.com/mova-globe-rotate-5471823.html

A couple of years ago, on a road trip to QLD we stopped off at the Parkes Observatory (the Dish) and they had these Mova globes and I was totally fascinated by them. I ended up going back to pick up one of the smaller Jupiter globes on our return journey home. I just checked their website and they have a few different ones not available from the above post. They’re not as heavily reduced at $199.95 but also come with free delivery.

  • Be careful with these Mova globes, I had 3 of these and all of them stopped rotating after 1-2 years when the fluid in the globe 'evaporate' and a bubble started to form at the top, they called this the bubble of death. I didn't dropped any the fluid was just gone very slowly.

If it works, it is great.
