  Any reviews on this thing? What can it be triggered by? If I accidentally bump the window will it go off?

    I bought two of these about 7 years ago.

    1. No sensitivity setting. So if you tap or knock on the window hard enough, it will sound.

    2. Loud - good if it works, bad if false alarm.

    I do not use them now.

  if you want a smart one that can be scheduled and send notification to your phone, I recommend the Xiaomi smart door/window sensor, only drawback is you need to buy the gateway.

    I think the difference is that the Xiaomi one is a different alarm type: so it is really apples and oranges: reed switch vs vibration detection.
