Any Harris Farm Customers Here?

Hi guys

Long time lurker but have created an account recently.

I discovered HF after having my baby and being too exhausted to go grocery shopping, and over the Coles and WW online shopping and their expensive delivery fees.

HF was great - free delivery for $80+, and lots of fruit and veg specials. I could forgive my deliveries being late in the day (I even had one after 11pm once…) but…..

Has anyone noticed lately that they have very few fruit and veg specials, all coinciding with their overhaul of the delivery system? I think the free delivery is for $100+ or $120+ (which I am not that bummed about if I can have a good shop with them) but their delivery windows have changed as well.

I start adding items to cart only to see that I really don't seem to want to buy as much as I used to when they had better specials.

I spose this is a bit of a rant as well as a query!

    Only reason I go to HF is for their imperfect picks.

    Slightly unusual looking vegetables for a fraction of the price. Better than any special really.

    I totally didn't even know about their delivery service. However, we do visit the physical shop quite often and we quite enjoy it.

    I only buy selectively there; some weekly specials are competitively priced, some imperfect picks are competitively priced, but not always.

    I could never buy much more than $20 there each shop.

    Do you mean HF special, or it's a good price compared to elsewhere?

      When they are on special, I would say on par if not better than supermarket prices. But the specials used to have a lot more fruit and veg, in addition to their imperfect pics.

      I must say I do love their plastic bagless service, and the quality of their produce is excellent.

      The two stores closest to me closed so a physical shop is a rarity now.

      I will keep seeing what they have on special and hopefully their bargains improve!!

    We don't use delivery and not sure whether it's relevant to what you're asking, but some of their regularly-priced items are cheaper than the supermarkets, such as Spanish olives , vermicelli and grissini. Maybe having some go-to staples to add to each order would help get to the minimum order amount.
