I have 4 Qantas Club passes to use and will be using them soon (2 adults, 2 children). I am not a Qantas Club member, I obtained these through Credit Cards I have signed up for.
As entry is still up to the discretion of the people that work the desk, has anybody been rejected before in possession of a freebie pass?
Just don’t want to rock up hours early and the prospect of sitting round doing jack-all in the food court or something.
I thought you can enter the lounge as long as you have a valid Qantas boarding pass?
It will be fine. Just check the dress code for the lounge (thongs / sandals are what commonly get people kicked out), each guest will also need to have a boarding pass for a Qantas / Jetstar or Emirates codeshare flight.
+1 to this. Also how old are the children? Pretty sure my wife and I got our 7 year old in when we only had two passes, so if they are quite young you might try to get away with only handing over two passes.

You won't be rejected unless the lounge is full to the brim (unlikely), or you don't meet their dress standards.
Out of interest, what airport are you planning on using them at?
Note that Melbourne Domestic Qantas Club isn't allowing complimentary passes this year due to renovation works.
Came here to post about the Melbourne club - found out the hard way when I rocked up early to have breakfast last week (was already a 6am flight so losing sleep for nothing kinda annoyed me).

Yes should be fine, for both Sydney Domestic Qantas Club or the International Business Lounge.
I've also got some free visits from my ANZ Black card - Hoping to use them in Singapore before getting on my Emirates flight - Anyone had any issues with that? - Don't really know how the whole thing works through your credit card

Flight is in the arvo I think around 4:30.
Kids are normally free with adults; so try with 2 passes first and bring out the other 2 if you have trouble getting in.
I don't think it applies for freebie passes unfortunately.

Hi, I too will use these passes in Tokyo Narita airport, linked them already to our Jetstar flight, anyone done it before?
4x freebies were fine, they did ask for the kids. Have a few in my possession so no dramas.
I haven't used freebie passes before, but I would recommend a reasonable standard of dress / shoes will give the staff less chance to refuse entry.
Even some 'celebrities' have come unstuck at times, but you don't need to be over the top.
Hopefully your flights are not at peak times.
