Can someone please help me with my above enquiry?
I'm not sure if the requirement to first purchase the discounted giftcard voids the deal ??
Had a quick look in the deal posting guidelines, nothing immediately sticks out

I think giftcards would be ok as long as its all in one go.
For example you can buy the giftcards while inside the shop, then go and buy the TV and use them straight away.
But it really only makes sense to post something like this when its an actual bargain, not just slightly cheaper and the average ozbargainer wouldn't even bother.
I think your right, not getting much love
That gopro deal you posted is not going to be that popular.
It was $299 close to a month ago, anyone who wanted one would have purchased it then, anyone who wants one now will just wait.
Also at least in my opinion, I wouldn't want to do your deal because what happens of the gopro runs out of stock while i'm buying giftcards?
The last thing I want is to get stuck with catch giftcards….
Also if you find something really good in the future, put both prices in title.
Didn't think about that part, fair point. Although i'd check stock before purchase of giftcard and purchase go pro on my phone immediately after. Oh I understand, because the price was $299 an ozbargainer can't pay more than this amount due to fear of loss of license
Also if you find something really good in the future, put both prices in title
This part is not allowed
Who says you can't do that?
I've often seen deals where the price is displayed and then it says (extra 5% off with pricematch) etc.
Also its an online store, a gopro can be in stock and sold out within 15 seconds.
As I said, nobody wants catch giftcards, I think people are willing to gamble a little more on cards like the good guys since you can always use them for something.
@samfisher5986: Neil the moderator, please see comment above.
Anyway I thought my deal was worth posting, however the shipping hurt it
I believe neil is saying that you shouldn't post a bargain with the giftcard price as the actual price.
Nothing stopping you from mentioning it afterwards, like other people do.
Yes this.
Best to just post the deal with the normal price, then mention the gift card price in the description. Otherwise every Woolworths, Big W etc deal would be the 5% off price due to Cashrewards/Pricepal gift card discount.
