Wanting to ask the community what they think of vacation club ownership (aka similar to time-share). I went to a Wyndham resort session and said I want to research into it. I travel at least once or twice a year but unsure if this is worth it. So want to ask any vacation club members if they signed up or know which club is best to join? They asked me for $38k for the platinum but said I'll think about it for a few weeks.

The vacation club I use is skyscanner and trevago
Why limit yourself to one brand of resort and only where they have availability when you want to travel.
With AirBnb, Trivago, etc; you can go wherever and whenever you want and always find someplace to stay at cheaper than whatever the vacation clubs charge as an annual fee.
Heck no. In addition to the upfront fee, you’ll have to pay annual fees and housekeeping fees each time you use the accommodation.

Thanks everyone yep researched into it and thanks for the choice link. I won't be joining and will continue to see the travel bargains that are always on ozbargain. Glad I asked here before I made a terrible mistake
