      So much for Apple's decision to remove 3.5mm encouraging the industry to ditch wired and go wireless. It's just led to wired lightning connector headphones.

      Not very good… very minimal NC and a low hiss when turned on.

        I respectfully disagree - have you actually tried these on a flight? Absolutely brilliant for the money. I purchased two sets (black and black w/blue) last time they were on sale at this price. The NC is powered by the phone so no need to worry about charging like you do with some NC headphones (might be considered a pro or a con). Have a powerbank for your phone just in case, and you're all set for a long haul adventure with clear audio that's not battling engine sounds!

          Yes have all sorts of NC headphones. I was reviewing more from a general use perspective. In a plane I would only bring my Bose or Sony cans purely for their performance.

          Comparing JBL to Bose and Sony in general environment the JBL have little NC. General environment is bus, trains, office or out for a run. Tested this as general as these being exercise focused headphones.

          I bought one of each colour the last time they were up for $50. They sit in my drawer. Even the Aldi ones had more NC.

          @fookos: Why does JB 404 a page when sold out? Can't they leave the product page open and just say out of stock? Deleting a page usually means, it was a mistake and we don't want you ordering any more.

          @lostn: I've seen both happen at JB. Sometimes out of stock, other times they show a 404 - not sure why as I've never worked there.

          Regardless, last time these were on sale at JB they were at this price and I received both orders (by post) without issue.

    Catch of the Day have the JBL reflect response for cheaper at $69.99 local stock. Still cheaper even after delivery or free for Club Catch. The reviews on them are pretty bad everywhere I look.
