I went and bought a FP220 kenwood foodprocessor for $149 (reduced from $169 at Harvey Norman Rothwell). Got home searched the net and Bing Lee had them for $99 in shop price
felt ripped off until searching the HN website which has the 7 day price match post-purchase guarantee.
HN required a copy of the Bing Lee deal (print out of the instore webpage not for online shop sales.) for verification. they said they would match it for $109 considering Bing Lee would charge $10 for delivery. I said my friend would pick it up for me so please give the whole $50 discount.
So in the end I got $50 back and my food processor (it's pretty good space saving wise and great option).
So could people list different stores and what is needed to get the post purchase price match and how long you have from purchase to claim.
Harvey Norman -copy of proof of instore cost of item - 7 days to claim.
Dick Smith - proof of price from a retail store with stock - 14 days http://dicksmith.com.au/help/price-promise-content
