  Not sure why you are laughing at the HN deal that for an extra $1 includes delivery and installation.
  Also, there is a far better deal from Costco mentioned above

  I don't understand why some people are willing to pay double the price of an alternate same sized TV with a few less features… or am i missing something?

    You need to look at them side by side with the same content to see the difference…

    One is a backlit panel and the cheaper ones are edgelit - difference between brightness levels and black levels are huge.

      Also contrast which other than resolution is the most important factor in a TV. This model has the highest contrast ratio of any commercially available TV by a long way.
