Just a few of my least favourite things.
Outdated but still expensive. Xiaomi smartwatches have the same feature and are less expensive.
If it was between the Xiaomi and this Suunto (assuming same feature-set) I'd go the Suunto in a heartbeat. Pretty nice looking watch in my opinion.
Having said that I'd much prefer the HR monitor on my wrist, even if chest-straps are more accurate.
The optical HR monitors you wear on your upper arm are pretty good
I’ve read that, though in most cases I’d opt for a less accurate reading from the wrist in preference to another piece of hardware to worry about.

Avoid
I got one of these for $40 from Aliexpress and so far, touch wood, I like it better than any of the big name brands I've bought over the decades. It does one thing really well- gives you your heartbeat in BIG figures with nothing else cluttering up the screen. I don't know what else it does because that's the only thing I'm interested in.
