Description

Bolivia, a few years from now: this beautiful South American country has become the largest cocaine producer in the world. The influential and vicious Santa Blanca drug cartel has turned the country into a narco-state, leading to lawlessness, fear, injustice and violence. The cartel is on track to becoming a major underworld power and global threat. An all-out war is not the answer. A surgical, stealthy, lethal approach is the only way to stop the disease at its source. The Ghosts, an elite US Special Forces team, are sent behind enemy lines to wreak havoc, destabilize and eventually break the alliance between the cartel and the corrupted government. Facing an almighty enemy in a massive and hostile environment, the Ghosts will need to make critical moral choices and engage in tough battles to complete their mission, their grittiest and most dangerous operation to date.

Rated: MA15+.

I can't seem to get into these new Tom Clancy games. Good price but.

  • Worth it just for the Sam Fisher cameo :)

  • Awesome game, my game of the year last year.

  • there any point in a Game of the Year edition ?

  • Only received a 6.1 on Metacritic user reviews. Not worth wasting time on low graded games.

    • This is the worst game I have ever attempted to play. Turned it off after 10 mins. Awful gameplay and the controls are even worse.

    • Lol, Metacritic user reviews. Do you take those seriously? Fanboys and trolls who believe they are in a console war who have never even played a game absolutely love leaving rubbish reviews for it on Metacritic. I’m not defending Wildlands, I’ve never played it, but referencing Metacritic user reviews is a joke.

      • The critic reviews are very similar. Are you saying the 6.1 is inaccurate?

Which review site do you trust then?

Are you saying the 43 negative user reviews, many of which are 0’s, for God of War are accurate? Or the 109 negative user reviews for Zelda: Breath of the Wild are accurate? Games are as much subjective as they are objective, but if you actually read some of the user reviews, you’ll see how many of them are complete garbage.

What site do I trust? There’s several YouTube channels opinions I value. I don’t trust Metacritics user scores for a number of reasons.

        • @aja12:

LOL 43 negative reviews vs the total 3626+ reviews. Those 43 negative reviews will have basically no impact on the average when there are so many people voting. They equated to 1.1% of the total vote. Hence the 9.3 score for God of War. Perhaps you should learn how basic maths and how averages works.

        • @viospeed: Mathematician, you’ve completely missed by point of actually reading the user reviews instead of relying on the aggregate score to gauge the quality of the user reviews. By all means, put your faith in Metacritic user scores. The internet is full of quality.

Also, why are you only relying on the 61 user score? The actual Metascore for this game is 69 on PC, 70 on PS4 and 76 on Xbox? Doesn’t that fit your “this is a low scoring game” narrative?

        • @aja12:

I find that the Metacritic reviews are a good read of what you can expect from a game. When you said you refer to Youtube reviewers you are basing that off 1 persons thoughts LOL!

        • @viospeed: I never said reviewers, I said YouTube channel’s - plural. Plural means I’m not basing anything off of one persons thoughts, but multiple people who’s opinions I value after watching and listening to them for years.

        • @aja12:

The fact that you said I was referencing Metacritic user reviews was a joke means you have no idea what you're talking about. I would much prefer the recommendation based of thousands of people rather than a handful.

A lot of the games I've played have fairly accurate scores on Metacritic of what I would give it. The reviews I don't trust are usually those who have something to lose such as IGN etc who get perks from developers to give scores above what they deserve.

        • @viospeed: Lol, sure thing.

        • @aja12: I think both of your thoughts have legitimate points.
          1. Metacritic, with thousands of reviewers, certainly has its weight behind its reviews
          2. Individual reviewers on YouTube, who try to be unbiased, genuine, and professional - their opinion too are worth weight in gold.
          3. Game reviews are both objective AND subjective. And arguments get heated usually because of the latter. There are times when I disagree with Metacritic and there are times when I disagree with individual reviewers. But nonetheless I appreciate that we live in an age where both information is available to us freely.
