if you buy 2 you'll have an extra base unit too
only thing to keep in mind is anything after 5 cameras means you'll be on a different plan (you'll need to pay) as <= 5 is free =)
Free cloud service is only upto 5 cameras and 1 base station.
You can just buy 2 x 3 camera system, then sell the extra base station and extra camera to recoup cost.

Is this the OLD model pro camera?
Yes, the new one is the Arlo Pro 2 - the base station is the same and you can mix and match models. 3 camera system for the Pro 2 is around ~$1000
JB is having a sale. It's $799 for 3 can kit, Arlo Pro 2.
Why would the 4 camera system be TWICE as expensive as the 3 Camera System.
Could you not just by 2 x 3 Camera Systems, then you have a 6 Camera System for the price of a 4 Camera System - does anyone know if that works?
