    Yes, while the first three (released in cinema/original) are fantastic I will be waiting for a price drop. Likely to occur when Amazon's competitors get access to it.

      I pre-ordered today from Amazon.co.uk.
      Worked out to be about AU$50 for the original trilogy, which is pretty cheap for 3 blu rays anyway.

      Amazon don't charge you for a pre-order until it ships, Aussie dollar might not be so good then so could cost a lot more.
      However you can easily cancel your pre-order with them at any time, so it's fairly safe. If amazon goes cheaper, you get the cheaper price too.
      For now I've just locked in that early price with them and can cancel if anyone comes up with a cheaper price between now and September.

      Bring on September!

  Let's just hope it's not a transferred 2004 DVD version. I watched all 3 in one go when I picked that up and had the worst surprise in the world at the end of Return Of The Jedi…

  The Hut/Zavvi now have it available for preorder with the release date 26.9.11, but more expensive than Amazon. I guess Amazon just got a few days head start.
