I found this site that is giving away a Iphone to the lowest unique bidder.
bids are only $2, and there is no hidden costs or scams.

They're making profit not giving away.
The chance is pretty hard, 1 in 500 maybe? These auction style make no loss.
every site on hear that says SPECIAL is still making a profit. thats what businesses do, aim to make no loss.
and they are giving it to the person with the lowest bid.
Is that Catherine your friend? That TV gadgets show (on channel 10?) are doing this bidding competition every week. It's still a competition, not a bargain because not everyone wins.
yeah. she is.
No it is not a competition where people are free to entry (like what a real auction is). You actually have to pay to enter into the competition — they call it gambling.
Gambling.
Do I even need to comment on why I'm giving it a negative vote?
Should this even be considered as a 'deal'? It's not like you're guaranteed to be able to purchase a product and it's almost akin to gambling without needing to get the relevant licences.
