    Postage adds a significant charge on top of the cost of the board games. Not really worth it when you buy 3 board games and shippings close to $50 AUD.

    I bought a few board games, but as mentioned by @fossilfuel, the shipping does add a lot. It’s still cheaper than if you were to buy elsewhere but not by as much as you would initially think.

    I haven’t bought anything from Amazon before so I am unsure about how good their shipping process is.

      Pretty quick. Get on live chat ND ask for free postage, for my first order before aug Amazon they offered me free post because I didn't know how to calculate postage and asked about it.

      Very happy customer. Aus Amazon is kinda hit and miss though

          and yeah, basically was like "shipping to much, what can you do for me" and the guy waived it.

          I was asked to place the order first, and then he altered it on Amazon's end, so if you've already paid they might be able to still help.

        I already paid, though I would like to give livechat a talk in case they can do anything about it. Like a couple of others, I'm wondering if you could help direct me to where to find the livechat option

        EDIT: I couldn't determine the livechat option based on the Wikihow, but got in touch with a call operator from the States, though they couldn't help me with the shipping. Was worth a try I suppose

        EDIT 2: Though thanks for the heads-up on their shipping being quick @Slipperyfish, I was a bit worried that it would take them ages

        EDIT 3: Livechat didn't waive my shipping but gave me a small promo off my next order, which is better than nothing. I appreciate that they gave me anything since they didn't need to. If the delivery process is good, I might buy from them again

    Unfortunately shipping seems to be about ~20USD even for one item, so unless it's a higher priced boardgame (and even then) you're more likely to pay less using boardgamesearch.com.au and picking the cheapest option. At best you'll likely break even, except be waiting longer for shipping. Gameology has always been competitive price wise, and the delivery is pretty quick too.

      Agree. Their pricing is very good in Australia. If you're not based in Melbourne, their $10 flat rate postage is quite affordable given their products are competitively priced.

      In Sydney, I get my board games from the gamesmen. Occasionally they have reasonable prices.

    I got 2 games worth $75 Aus before shipping off boardgamesearch for $60 delivered. Not the biggest discount ever but well worth it for quality games. Amazon delivery has always been pretty fast in my experience.
    If what you want isn't on here, buy from your flgs to support the retail stores that enable the hobby.

      Unfortunately the only two local stores in my city are selling games for extortionate prices. I'm all about supporting local stores, even if it is 'slightly' more expensive, but when Catan and Pandemic for example, are each ~100 bucks.. I can't swing those sorts of prices.
