Do not buy the Mi 6x. It's probably worse than Mi A1 when compared to it. Worse Battery + No NFC (still) + No Headphone jack + No Android One (Apparently) should be enough to convince anyone not to buy this phone.

  -3gb ram is enough? or 4gb worth it?

    A Couple of things:
    
    I don't know if Xiaomi will ever release Mi A2. A reason could be that Xiaomi might not want to go away from the MIUI system (yes i know they said they will release further stock android phones, but who knows? This is a chinese company after all)
    
    You might as well go for the Redmi Note 5 since it has better SoC (therefore should be more long lasting than the other phones)
    
    I feel like the standard now is 4 GB, not 3 GB. So better get a device with 4 GB RAM on it.
