Usually with a cable
Usually with a cable
Usually with an expensive cable
Usually with a very expensive cable
Please describe what ports are available on each device.
This, ports vary between generations of MacBooks. Some need mini Displayport, Thunderbolt or HDMI.
You need to get the cable for mini->hdmi or get an adapter. Joys of Apple products.
Use a few strands of string.
Just grab a bluetooth monitor….
Which MacBook do you have? This will help understanding the available outputs and therefore the necessary cable.
I have macbook air
Which year? Or what ports does it has?
depending on the connector some use mini Displayport, Thunderbolt or HDMI. And I think you can get adapters for the connection you have to convert one to the necessary connection for your TV. Usually HDMI.
If you have the Thunderbolt 3, {These Mac models have one or more ports compatible with this adapter: MAC's iMac Pro, iMac models from 2017, MacBook Pro models from 2016 or later, MacBook models from 2015 or later}
You can use the following adapters along with an HDMI cord and a HDMI ready TV or monitor:
Thunderbolt 3 to Dual HDMI 2.0 Adapter $ 89.90

MacBook Air don't have Thunderbolt 3 port on any models at the moment.
@O O: Then I think he/she is shit out of luck if what you say is true. But I got the info directly from APPLE web site "MacBook models from 2015 or later" https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT207806. guess MacBook models does not include AIR?
@Sunshine Moon: It's not that bad. MacBook Air do have either Thunderbolt 2/Thunderbolt 1/Mini DisplayPort/micro-DVI port depend on which generation it is. He/she still can do it.
Did you just assume your Macbooks profession?
