Looking for a Cheap Moving Truck in Canberra

Hi all,

Looking for the best deal on hiring a moving van for one day. Have checked out Budget, Thrifty and Avis and all around the $200 mark. We are wanting the gas lift back and a moving trolley since we are moving some heavy items.

Any deals would be great :)

  Are you sure you want a moving truck? There are a few good blokes on gumtree that do local moves.

        My sister got duped, paid a deposit then they never showed up or ever answered the phone again, leaving her stranded

    As above. Depending on how many items you're looking to move, it might be cheaper to hire someone via Gumtree/Airtasker to handle the transportation.

  Last time I went cheap with these guys http://www.citymove.com.au/,I got ripped off. Later found out, I'm not the only one, they also been fined by ACCC.
  But if you want decent, I have been told https://www.twomen.com.au/canberra-removalists are good. But haven't try them.
