Not as cheap as Air Asia. But still, some good prices to Ho Chi Minh City!
Melbourne/Sydney have direct flights via Jetstar.

My bad! updated. Should work now.
What do you mean by "For May/June 2018"? You examples for Perth and Gold Coast clearly showed dates in August to November.
Just updated the post. The email link said it was for May/June and then I looked into the individual links which have got dates going to Aug/sep!
Is ‘I know the pilot’ the same nice person from ‘I want that flight’?
Dont forget to use Cashreward to buy wow gift card, then use it to buy jetstar gc
Can you please provide a few more links or instructions please.
..?
buy this https://www.cashrewards.com.au/woolworths-gift-cards save %5
then use that go in store to buy jetstar gc.
A quick search on the link shows $173 one way non-stop Syd to Sgn. Departing 3.20pm. That is excellent!
Can anyone please let me know how can i search for other times? Such as in July anf August? I dont have exact day to travel and just curious which day would have the cheapest flight.
Any non Asians been to Vietnam before? Is it easy to get around there speaking just English?
You'll be in a sea of Aussie tourists mate.
Incredible country, well worth the visit.
my "non-Asian" friends has backpacked all of Vietnam only knowing Hello, Goodbye and Thank you.
If you’re just visiting the main tourist areas, you’ll be fine with just English.
Spent a month there a few years ago. Amazing country with great people, lots to see and good food. Hanoi, Hoi An and Ha Long Bay are great destinations. Plus it's super cheap which is great if you're an OzBargainer.
Language is fine.
If you're not sure, just buy the ticket, I promise you won't regret it.
Lmao not all Asians speak Vietnamese bro…
Haha true I should've said Vietnamese
Just come back. Absolutely hated HCMC. A combination of heat, humidity, pollution and stink made it unenjoyable for us.
Worth a visit just to see the traffic though lol.
We liked Nha Trang though.
And yes you'll have no problem with english only. Use Grab to get around.
Anyone else not able to find any of these deals anymore? The only ones with that price are "My Holidays" who then tell you that the price has increased to around $470.
Just got back from Vietnam yesterday - go..ensure SaPa is in your itinerary.
Will be making vlog on my youtube soon :)
Please link when done!
I had a brain fart just then and thought Vietnam was somehow for sale…
I've had a long day.
What!? Dai Long hotel is for sale?

thats a good deal if you like looooong stop overs lolololol
Depends where you're flying from. Sydney/Melbourne jetstar are direct flights, with a 8 hr trip each way. For under $300, that's a bargain. The sale ended last night where there were plenty of direct flights
Rainy season in the south starts in about June so do your research unless you love a good soaking
Hi Op, which Air Asia deal did you mention?
I flew Jetstar return SYD to SGN. The flights were fine.
However, I hated HCMC. My mobile phone was stolen from my front pocket within an hour of arriving in HCMC. The Saigon Tourist taxi had a high speed meter. There were used syringes in the gutters. Traffic does not stop at crosswalks. Food in restaurants was overcooked. People do not smile like in Thailand.
