This game needs no introduction. Rose to fame on the previous gen of consoles and then was reborn this gen with an enhanced makeover.

Given many of us recently purchased the massive strategy guide from JB Hifi, there may be a few on the hunt for the game now :)

An active Xbox Live Gold membership is required to nab it at the humble price of $24.98, which is about as low as this has been if you ignore the pricing error at Mighty Ape one fine summer…

Take me to Skyrim on the Microsoft store

And, of course, the title was recently enhanced for Xbox One X.

  • It's also still US$20 on the US PSN Store , it was $AU$25 on our store but promo is over. (No Plus subscription needed for discount)

  • How many hours do you think you need to set aside to really get into this game? I've got such a backlog that I'm not sure if I'll get to appreciate the full breadth of this title.

I've just finished Titanfall 2's campaign, and about to get stuck into Red Dead Redemption before the sequel releases in October!

    • +1

I'm curious to know also as in the same situation. Acquired a digital copy a while ago and keep putting the off before I don't think I can invest enough time into it. Can it be played in short sessions?

Do want to add that you will have a blast with Red Dead Redemption if this is the first time your experiencing it. Recommend the Undead Nightmares extension if you get through the main game and can't wait for the sequel.

      • Thanks mate.
Looking forward to RDR - purchased a copy on PS3 but never got around to it - still shrink wrapped!
Grabbed it on X360 recently to place in the X1 and tested earlier in the week - runs well on there with back compat. Will aim to get stuck into it tonight for a bit if I have time.
