In the lottery that is the OzB referral system - sometimes you get overlooked or the referral just doesn't work. If people re-posted every time this happened, the whole system would be thrown into chaos. Unfortunately, I think you just have to wear it. That being the case, I'm not sure what the OzB etiquette is in this situation so I stand to be corrected.
unfortunately, this is correct. swanny246 should have skipped icanfly as etiquette, however, not everyone checks the last few posts of the chain to ensure all is fair and well. the best course of action is to post a reply to your original post saying you were unfairly skipped, or post a reply to icanfly's post asking why you were skipped. either way the purpose is to leave a note so that if someone has a "spare" account, that they might use your link. re-posting your link is a no go, since that would be breaking the chain and cause forks and confusion etc.
