  Not ragging on you brother, but it seems theres a million android music players and none of them do anything special or remotely inventive. Is this one any different?

      Well I want a function to pull matching videos from youtube so I can have music videos playing in the background while I'm doing stuff, but I guess its easier to give out 'great feelings' than to do something like that

    Poweramp is brilliant, a good 320kbs source on poweramp with the right sound settings sounds waaay better than spotify or Google Play

    This one has full internet access while having access to all your files (along with your identity and all your contacts) so they can build up their library. It runs on startup and can also change your system settings to their liking. :)

    It can keep track of the songs you listen to and send the data to a website such as last.fm. That website can recommend artists that you might like to listen to based on what you've been listening to. You can get that functionality in pretty much any music player (including Play Music) by using a scrobbling app such as Simple Last.fm Scrobbler, so having that feature is nothing special.

  I'm always amazed at people who say that this player or that player makes your music sound amazing. I don't want a player which does that, I want one that reproduces the digital audio as it was intended to sound.

  The Digital audio converter in the phone does all the work in converting digital media to analogue sound you can hear. The app should be more of an audio file organiser plus features like gapless playback for live albums and so on.

  If you want to adulterate the sound make it all bassy or whatever then get an app with a synthesiser or equaliser and go for it plus you're not going to have great reproduction on a phone through earbuds anyhow.

  I like the Rocket Player to pass-through my flac files stored on SD card or USB via optical from a TV box to an external amp.
