  • FYI: FREE Cinema offer – How it works

    1. Once you’ve purchased and received your new HTC 7 Mozart or LG Optimus 7Q on an eligible plan, you can click the “Register For Your Movie Offer” button link above and enter in the required details.
    2. You will then receive a confirmation email outlining that your registration has been received and is currently being validated.
    3. Once validated (which may take up to 28 days), you will receive another confirmation email and begin to receive weekly SMS messages each Monday with a unique code and a URL that you can visit to redeem each coupon (or alternately you can use the ”Claim My Tickets” button link above).
    4. You will have until the final session on the Sunday evening of that week to redeem and use your cinema coupon at an eligible cinema chain.
    5. You will receive a new unique code via SMS on the following Monday for up to 52 weeks to continue this redemption process.
    6. Full terms and conditions available here

  • $129 wow that's expensive, is that WP7 phone really that good?

      No :)

  • The title should be "Free weekly movie ticket with selected Telstra plans".

    • Fixed the title. Thanks :)

Its not "free" you pay for it through the plan, and I'll prefer Telstra just lowered the prices of their plans, rather than pushing out these gimmicks.

    • +1

The upside is once you spend money on the plan you won't feel guilty about seeing your 'free' movie each week, seeing as its been paid for involuntarily anyway :'D

    • Well considering each movie ticket is $16 per adult. That is $16 x 52 weeks = $832 value. That is brilliant value if you go for the Mozart on the $59 cap (~$1400 for 24 months).

Can someone please dumb down this post HTC 7 Mozart: $59/month = 4 free movie tickets per month = $44 x 4 $11 tue tix + $15 connection fee + free Phone?

  • Lol I think Telstra should update their list of cinemas, the Hoyts at Stockland Merrylands hasn't existed for about 2 years..

  • +1

2 years plan but only 1 year of movies =[

crap deal to me, its a very expensive plan. I would rather get the iPhone 4 on the $49 cap (which is $39 for Telstra customers) with the $200 welcome credit to pay for the phone.

This W7 phone is not even very good, im going to be holding out for a good W7 phone before getting rid of my iPhone 3G.

    1. Too expensive
    2. Too hard
  • You cannot factor in the worth of the movie tickets as it relies on you even having the time to go each week to a movie that you would even want to see,let alone have someone else to go with whos willing to pay for their tickets that often-do some math for them. As an almost toxic amount of lone movie tickets are mostly worthless, this does not justify the premium cost for this,so neg from me .
