15% off All Rides with Taxify

130

From an email I got

========
To celebrate our first 100 days of operation in Australia, we are excited to announce that all rides are now 15% off. This discount is ‘uncapped’, meaning the more you ride with Taxify, the more you will save.

Don't stress when you don't see a 15% discount at the end of your fare though, as we have already preloaded your discount!

Please note that these base and discounted fare prices are subject to dynamic pricing changes.

  • Their website shows significantly (!) higher prices.

    • Discounted prices here.

      • This is just a picture. Where can one get legitimate information?

        • That's the picture from the email from Taxify I received.

  • I've used taxify quite a bit instead of Uber but only when they have discounts. Their problem is that they just aren't as good as Uber so can't compete when the prices are the same. The app is terrible (it struggles to locate addresses and doesn't have an airport pick up setting) and there is a huge dearth of drivers so the waits are huge (despite them emailing you to plead that they are now shorter).

    Just stick with Uber.

    I tried them.tonight. with the $20 free credit.
    Picked up in a beemer, cost me under $4 all up. Driver said they pay better but when he's 20+km outside the CBD he switches to uber, as there's very few fares to be had.
