Just wondering if there any cheaper carpark deal other than $45/day at hotel

Not sure I’d recommend this for an expensive car - it would be in the elements and would be possible target for vandalism and/or theft. If it’s a bomb, sure.
Also note the suburbs surrounding the city (west end, south Brisbane, Spring Hill, new Farm etc) are all 2P during the week unless signed
we are just going to hire an SUV from the airport to airport, definitely not a "luxury car"
Not really, need the car to go to Scarborough and Kids Attractions in GC.
We are staying in the hotel for a wedding so won't be needing then
With the train, would that be the same deal with the family of four?
Why don't you hire cars separately for those individual trips? There are hire places in and around the CBD.
Netball courts behind butterield street is free in herston, and 3 bus stops from city.

Live here in Brisbane CBD, not much sadly other than perm parking (no come and go like the hotel), that I know of at least, Just pay the rate and be done with it. On the days you think you not going to need it, you can find overnight parking at both Wilson and Secure parking for relatively cheap ($10-20), have to be out by 6am etc though. Sometimes the hotels deal sounds bad, but depending what’s on offer, it usually isn’t.
There are a limited selection of loading zones right in the CBD where you can park free with no limits from Friday evening to early Monday morning.
It can be difficult to get a free spot but PM me if you would like to know where they are.
Do you need the car while you're at the hotel? If not, park it outside the city after you've checked in and get the train back in.
