We all know Price Hipster dons the glasses for bargains, but is it secretly monitoring inflation too? I would be really interested to see the price jumps on items, particularly at Coles and Woolies. They are always touting "down and staying down" and we never get a sense of what is going up. Anyone else curious about this?

Camelcamelcamel does this for Amazon UK/USA. It monitors price rises and falls on graphs both sold by Amazon and third parties for products. Not sure how difficult it would be to do something like that here. Might be complex when it's many different retailers and not one unified marketplace.

You can see it most of the time, but it gets refreshed sometimes too.
Price Hipster sent me this alert the other day and I wasn’t sure what to think :)
Well, that's just Hardly Normal.
You could always message @jazoom the creator of PriceHipster to suggest a feature.
