Recommend a Smart Doorbell - Wireless, Record Video to NAS Would Be Huge Benefit

Hi All,

My doorbell is shot, and I'm looking for a new one. Has anyone used a smart doorbell, like Ring, Skybell etc? I don't have a wired doorbell, so it would have to be battery operated. Also prefer not to have to pay a monthly cloud fee for storing video. Therefore if it could record video onto my NAS, that would be terrific.

I'm OzB, so of course cost is a consideration, but not the only thing.

Another option is to replace the deadbolt on the front door with one that operates with a number code, and has a camera built in also. Kill 2 birds and all that.

Any thoughts?
