Swatch Happy Hours Promotion, pay $35 for a mystery watch - Yay or Nay?

Hi

Swatch watch is currently running a promotion where if you buy a full price swatch, you can pay $35 for a mystery box with a watch in it worth around $85-$100.

I'm curious to know whether people think it would be worth taking the punt because if you don't like the watch, you should be able to theoretically ebay it without potentially incurring a loss?

    I took a chance on a similar offer last year when I bought a swatch. At that time you could see it would be a random one from a selection of 4 (so not a completely blind offer). I liked all except one. Expecting my usual (lack of) luck I thought I'd end up with the only one I didn't like, but I actually got one of the ones I did like. So I was very happy.

    I personally would go for the offer as a) I like most swatch watch styles and b) I'm always misplacing my watch so to have a spare to use until I find my watch is handy for me.

        I thought the four options were example only ie there are more than 4 options.

    If you like one of the surprise models, I reckon you can expect to see them on gumtree/eBay for $50 soon, if that means you might choose a different supplier for the main choice.
