      From the 65c packs to the $1 packs?
      Yeah the cheap stuff have weevils in them*. But besides that, the $1 range has much more variety.

      *Personal experience.

        @treeman: I've only had weevils (or possibly flour bugs, not sure) in 2 packs of penne after buying maybe 50 of them but it was enough to turn me off them..

  This is the worst pasta on the market sorry. Better than heinz spaghetti probably if someone is used to that though.

      I bought penne and cooked it tonight. Texture is not great, and it's very thick.
      $1 experiment. Whatever, will stick with Barilla if on sale, else Aldi.

  There are some good choices for less than 90 cents often on special at Foodland in SA.
