Trying to find some plain generic hepa filters to attach to a fan while i find a good purifier.
Can't find any in Australia, the ones i can find are made specifically for particular purifiers and aren't large enough to be strapped onto a box fan. Also questionable the ones i can see in China are actually legit. Anyone ever buy one?

no, just wrap your fan box with the white packing foam aka PTFE membrane
I don't want generic, i want a legit hepa filter and will pay for a branded one. I just want one which is a general one. Not one which was designed for a particular purifier.
you can only find ones that's designed for a particular purifier which happens to be big enough for your fan box

I bought a Chinese one from Aliexpress, albeit a specific one for my vacuum cleaner. Was after-market but certainly a perfect fit and seems to do the job.
