Platform to Trade Options on US Markets

Hi All,

I am interested to give trading a shot, particularly trading US options.

I wanted to see if anyone on the forum has experience and what platforms/software can be used for this purposes.

I am looking for both executing trades and charting platforms.

Following have been suggested to me: Interactive Brokers (IB), Sure Trader, ThinkOrSwim, IG. I'm not sure if the big 4 banks do this.

I use Interactive Brokers to buy options, you can use their Trader workstation as a charting platform, I use tradingview for all charting though.

If you want to get into options please make sure you read many books about them and the risks involved.
Selling naked options can send you to the poor house quickly.

  How are you finding the costs to trade? how much do you need to invest in a trade to make it worthwhile based on brokerage costs?
