AmEx DJ Points for Credit Rate Slashed?

When I signed up for a DJ AMEX card last year I can redeem my points for credit at the rates
$50 8,000
$100 14,500
$250 36,000
$500 69,000
$1000 130,000

But now when I tried to redeem it's flat 10k points for $50, which is a lot less. Can they just devalue your points like this without telling you?

  Maybe the sent you an email stating change to ters & conditions?

    It was mentioned on both the January and February statements that the points redemption rate was changing but only that the value of $100 would increase to 20K points for everything except DJs gift cards (and redeeming Membership Rewards while shopping on DJs Online); nothing about the other denominations
