LG 65UJ634T is $65.15 delivery
Total $1505.90
Samsung 65in MU7 is $165.79
Total $1861.54
Hrm choices choices.
The samsung seems to be good but is it worth putting that extra out over the N7 and LG?
The samsung local at HN or TGG is $1898
Saving only $30
Can anyone comment on how this compares to the OzB favourite Hisense 65N7 in terms of picture quality, general usability, software etc.?
I notice this TV has 200HZ refresh rate, but I can't seem to locate the Hisense refresh rate.
Beat me by 44 seconds! Lol
These refresh rates relate to motion smoothing, which most people turn off or turn low. Unless your using it for gaming, it you one of the few people who like it, the refresh rates mean next to nothing. What matters is the quality of the panel, the decoding and scalers in the firmware etc.
So would you go for this TV or the 65N7?
The Hisense 65N7 is a OzB favourite?
Anyone know how this compares to the Hisense N7? I am so close to pulling the trigger on a 65 and 75" TV…
55/65 N7s use Samsung panels
50: AU Optronics/Edge Lit/50Hz/10bit/460nits/Wide Colour Gamut/1200:1 Contrast/Local Dimming 14 Controllable Zones.
55: Samsung/Edge Lit/100Hz/10bit/385nits/Wide Colour Gamut/4000:1 Contrast/Local Dimming 16 Controllable Zones.
65: Samsung/Edge Lit/100Hz/10bit/420nits/Wide Colour Gamut/4000:1/Local Dimming 16 Controllable Zones.

Wow, why does the 50" have such poor contrast? With local dimming, VA panel (I think?) and 460nits you'd expect better than 1200:1
Why you yelling?
