Hmm, the conditions are not great. They reserve the right to call you for an indefinite period (and to share details with any third parties). Is there a better way to handle competitions like this with phone numbers? I assume they will probably check that phone number is valid if you win.

i get marketing calls incessantly at work. its beyond annoying but its part and parcel of entering competitions unfortunately. I pick up each call hoping its a winning one, only to have my hopes dashed when someone tries to find some way to get money from me.
Get a second number that you don’t mind to hand out
That's kind of what I meant. What do other people do? Set up a secondary number on their phone (voip?) For competitions? What's the cost? Etc. Seems like a lot of effort, but maybe I'm wrong. Or I suppose if you have a phone that supports 2 active sim cards, that could be one way to go.
But yeah, I wasn't able to enter this competition due to these conditions.
