I purchased some Blu-ray's and DVDs from The Hut yesterday and if failed to put in any shipping/postage fee, even though my address is Australia. I expected it to be cancelled but they have since charged my credit card, but I guess it still may happen. The other options is they now have free shipping to Oz, which I think is very unlikely or I did get charged but not on the receipt - I can't see the final fee - but this does not seem to add up either.
It seems to still be working today for Blu-rays and games - at least up to where you make your final purchase - I have nothing more to buy at the moment.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Could make up for the VAT that Amazon UK takes off, however, sometimes they are cheaper than Amazon anyway.
I tried a dummy order with Zavvi and was charged 2.95 quid per item, up until where you have to pay. As i did not want to pay for it I went through my favourites and went back to Zavvi home page. I then went through my account again and went through the checkout a second time (goods still in basket), and was taken to the delivery options - enter your address, delivery address - confirm address and credit card, then you confirm the order- place order and CV2 details - now this time there is no delivery fee.
I still get no delivery charge with The Hut, my order is still processing but I have been charged.
If someone else could see if this works it would be good.
