Almost missed this one, its a fairly standard pricing these days, but it does come with a freebie charger thats worth about 10 bucks or so.
Officeworks is still at $238 as of 6pm on the 26th, but not sure if will match it per se, because its not an "identical" product with the freebie charger.
There haven't been many sales for the 32GB, I'm suspecting that retailers are overstocked with the 8GBs as people have started to realise that apps and videos take up a LOT of space, just my 2c. Nonetheless, a nice deal :)

i saw this in Brisbane city just now, but it stated that I have to preorder today, will get it on 29th Dec. Not sure if it comes with charger though?
Grab yourself a copy of the (paper) catalogue just in case they try to weasel out. (Assuming that Brisbane have the same catalogues as the ones in Melbourne, the Melbourne ones stated it quite clearly that there is a bonus charger)
I'm wondering how they manage to sell at this price - might be operating on a loss leader basis on this product hoping to increase store traffic.

The sale is until the 16th, give them some time to restock. The 4g Ipod touch will be around for at least 9 more month, little risk of completely running out of stock.
Having said that, OW will probably still price match since HN is a major store.
Domayne also have the 8gb on sale for $227 with bonus belkin charger which they claim has a rrp of $29.95 anyone know if office works only price match stores within a set km range?
Officeworks already pre-price matched this to $228 yesterday - well the store that I went to anyway in Carnegie, Victoria. No charger though, if it means much to you then wait for Harvey Norman to restock.
