Memory Foam Mattresses Ecosa, Sleeping Duck etc

Has anyone tried a mattress from the online sellers like ecosa, sleeping duck and Koala.

I am about to buy a king size and mattress and want to know what people think.

    great mattress

    • Do they have a 100 night trail period like the others. I don't think I could buy a matress online without some sort of buyers remorse return policy.

        no they dont. i think it's because of the difference in price?

        • Fair enough at the price

  • Originally got one from Ecosa.. it was awful.. returned it and tried Koala.
    We have now replaced every mattress in the house with Koala.

    Only thing is with these "foam" mattresses, is they can be quite warm to sleep on.

    • I was considering the ecosa, but the koala warranty won me over in the end. I like it, but hubby says it's too soft. Was the ecosa a lot firmer?

      • The ecosa is quite firm, which my back enjoys.

  • We got a sleeping duck about 2 years or so back, no problems. Took us a while to get used to the heat going from a waterbed but have learned to regulate that by using lighter covers. :) Was a lot more comfy than what we though it would be.

  • I have two Ecosa mattresses. They are about 2 years old and still going strong, they are nice and firm, but starting to soften a little now at the 2 year mark. I went with them because of thier foam density and cooling gel layer. No regrets, I sleep well every night now, which was not the case before I bought the mattress.

    • do none of the others have gel top layers?

    As a note its around 200$ for a zzzatelier to be shipped to WA - and it doesnt appear that the Ebay "clearance" store does this.

    • Incorrect. Max $63 to WA via eBay outlet. You have to message them and they'll send you an offer including postage.

      • Well if your not using their Ebay page through their web site - it comes up as $200. And there is no direction in their ebay posting to approach them for a quote on postage sooooooo. Good stuff you found more information. Doesnt that circumnavigate ebay rules tho?

        • Hmmmm I'm not sure. Don't use eBay that often

          @TarquinOliverNimrod:

          Ended up buying one. Postage in their offer to Mandurah WA cost 129$ through Ebay outlet. so paid $488 for the special they were running on their mattresses at the moment. King Black Label Chiropractic one.Cheaper than a Sleeping duck but no 100 day return or changable topper.

          I hope I like it.

        • @Catarack21: I think you could've got it cheaper. There's two options for the same mattress, but one is $50 less. and during their 20% of it would've been $347.20

          @TarquinOliverNimrod:

          Yah - got a bit sick of waiting - was originally planning to get a Sleeping Duck so still a lot less than what I was expecting to be paying. Anythign is better than what I am on at the moment tho.

    I received the mattress about a week ago. It was a lot firmer than I expected. The mattress doesn't bounce (no springs) so there is virtually no partner disturbance. I didn't like it at first, my back pain was much better, although I had some new pain elsewhere, but that has gone away now.

  • I got my mattress a couple of weeks ago now. It was way firmer than I expected, I was more concerned that it would be too soft. Partner disturbance is almost non existant (but we have gone from a queen to a king).

    My back is doing OK, I am still not sold on it, and I am probably going to adjust it to the softest setting.

    • Which one did you get?

      • ecosa

        • Nice let us know how you end up
