I think these regularly get classed as: 'Disgusting. Do NOT buy!', but I've never had them myself.
Sodium is not a health risk.
The sodium levels are in the nutritional information on the Woolworths page in the deal information.
More importantly, where are these made?
I buy their prawn dumpling and it is ok to ke as frozen food and I am from Hong Kong.
Mr Chen is not from Hong Kong. Mr Chan is. Therefore you need to understand Mr Chen pretends to be Mr Chan but actually is from Mainland China…. Hence these are not from Hong Kong
That's no chance these would be better than Chinese groceries stores
I can't see them saying they are from Hong Kong.
Why would they need to be better than a Chinese grocery store?
If they are good enough for a Chinese grocery store then they must be good enough for here.
Taste wise is ok , better than anything else in a market , salt content is quite low <168mg per serve , normal price in Aldi ( prawn only ) is $9.99 everyday . I used the buy and eat them but stopped from eating prawn dumpling due to cholesterol level in prawn .
In YouTube I saw Similar issues about frozen Norwegian salmons ( Aldi) , and frozen Vietnamese cods ( Aldi , coles, woolies ) . We need to be cautious towards Cheap frozen non Australian seafoods and foods and eat in extra moderation.
Unfortunately there are issues with farmed seafood even in Oz, best to get from local fishermen if available, though it's expensive now. I just consume less.
Chenski
why are mushrooms and fungus listed as two separate ingredients? truffles?
any good ?
what's the sodium level?
