Combine with Paragon Assets and Unreal Engine and you've got yourself resources for game development. Would have made by Uni degree much easier!

Torrent link for those unlucky souls without FTTP NBN <:

Are there any f@rt sounds? Asking for a friend.

  • This is actually really cool. I've been meaning to go do some sound projects. Thanks for the heads up TA!

  • This sounds perfect for me. I'm making a game atm and was wondering about how i'd go about finding sounds i can use legally in it. Thanks!

Found there's also torrents of their older packs:
    https://sonniss.com/GameAudioGDCPart3.torrent
    https://sonniss.com/GameAudioGDCPart2.torrent
    https://sonniss.com/GameAudioGDCPart1.torrent

From what I can see, the older packs share some content with part4, but also have some unique sounds of their own.

Anyone else thinking to use these sounds for notifications/ringtones?

    • +3

Metal Gear Solid Codec sound for ringtone.

Metal Gear Solid Alert sound for SMS.

      You don't need anything else!

Actually I lie. Megaman 2 - Dr Wily's Castle is my current ringtone and will probably be forever.

Torrent has 1.3gb of malware added :/

        • Lol what?
I hope you're joking, because your comment literally made me laugh

          @Xebozone:
Yes I was joking . Lol.
But in all seriousness, when I was downloading torrents through computer, it seemed my laptop was constantly under attack from malware every time torrent program was open. ie. I had MalwareBytes active protection popping up with non-stop notifications of malware blocked.
I now download torrents via my phone, then transfer in phone to micro sd, then plug microsd into media player or computer.
I believe phones cannot really get any viruses, the same way computers become infected badly.

          @ozzpete:
Phones are more locked down, so you're right, but having a torrent program itself shouldn't give your computer a virus. If you're that worried go for an open source torrent client like transmission or deluge. I do use utorrent, but deluge is good and I use that on my Linux machines. Just be sure not to click next next next when installing utorrent as it tries to install some ad-supported nasties.

        • @Xebozone:
Thanks for the info. Sounds like your much more aware of programming etc than I am.
I did have torrent. I always had something downloading, so it probably was not the program itself, but the torrent (or people trying to hack or install malware through torrent) .
It was so frustrating to the point I was considering a seperate pc just for torrent downloading, so as to avoid malware on main laptop.
Im not sure what malware or viruses actually got through, but having malwarebytes constantly telling me its blocked something, was quite concerning.
Phone works great for me, as Im on the old optus unlimited data/calls/text for $2 day plan :)
Always something to download, if I run out of decent content to watch on netflix .

@ozzpete: There was no malware coming through as MBAM is just blocking the incoming/outgoing connections associated with downloading and uploading the content through P2P. Just need to add an exclusion and you're good to go. It's a very common complaint with Premium.

        • @Clear:
Ok. Thanks for the info. It certainly looks like computer is constantly under attack. Im not game to add exclusions to anti-virus as Im unsure what to allow and what to keep blocking.

        • @ozzpete: It's detecting the ingoing and outgoing connections. You connect to a seeder which has an IP to download files and others connect to you to download the files you upload.

Its blocked because there is the potential for a virus to spread that way, but that would mean the torrent itself would have to be dodgy and MBAM would tell you quickly if the files you are downloading are malicious.

  • Cool

  • (profanity) this is gonna take some time to download with a 100KB/s down line…..

  • +2

I'm downloading this just because I've run out of things to download.

  • Can anyone share a google drive link….

  • Gunshot alarm tones. That'll wake me up.
