Our Chinese friends are spamming OzBargain with ‘dubious’ tactics promoting android products.
- When companies like this do that would you trust them to treat you a consumer with any respect.
- Just because a product is advertised as ‘Android’, doesnt mean its a good Android product. Android is open source (including the name/logo) meaning we will see more of this junk. Unfortunately products like this will just give Android a bad name, and eventually damage the brand.
- The latest trick is to link banned websites via some intermediate overseas referral site. If the poster was genuine they would just link you to the real site, so question this tactic right away.
Help us stop these opportunists, they are trying to con the OzBargain community with their dubious marketing techniques and products. The products sold are of poor quality, despite what they’re claiming
Report these posts to the mods straight away, that way we protect other members here from falling into these shonks clutches.
They have been spamming and we have been banning these fellows for months. DONT trust them for any deal. Even if you are not sure - report it, the mods have tools to check and we can use those effectively. If they are legit we will let the deal stand, so these is no issue with reporting. it just assists us in discovering these crooks

Thanks Ozpete. I suggest banning any links outright to these referral websites — it'd make moderating much easier.
